Having worked with a very wide range of organisations since 2016, from LEGO and the NHS to fledgling startups, a very common issue I come across is the difficulty of balancing ‘business as usual’ with planning for change, development and growth.

Founders and owners tell me frequently how they would love to develop new products, capture new markets, or expand their business, but with everything that needs to be done to keep on top of the day-to-day, it’s difficult to get started - just thinking about change can be overwhelming.

Because our focus at Nightingale is supporting organisations to design user-friendly, successful products and services, over the years we have developed highly effective tools and workshop formats that allow teams to draw out, discuss and agree clear goals and roadmaps for success. Clients have told us that this structured process of examining opportunities, exploring options and making firm decisions around next steps was transformative for their business - it provided much-needed clarity and stopped teams getting bogged down in details or giving up at the first hurdleIt also gave them success criteria that allowed them to monitor progress and pivot or make changes when needed.

When gathering feedback on these processes, one common thing we hear is ‘I wish we’d done it sooner'. That’s why we offer a stand-alone workshop, designed to take teams out of the daily grind, giving them the structure, time and space to:

  • Discuss, identify and understand what they are trying to achieve
  • Develop clear and coherent goals and success criteria
  • Identify knowledge gaps and potential blockers to success
  • Explore ideas for potential growth, including new income streams
  • Create a realistic, achievable roadmap for growth

The content of each workshop is tailored to the particular needs of the company and the team, with the goal of boosting team coherence and productivity, reducing time wasted on badly-defined projects and setting the business on a clear path to growth.

The workshop is four hours long, with a maximum of 15 participants. We can deliver the workshop in-house, or at a location convenient for all the participants.

The cost for the workshop, including an initial consultation to define the workshop content, is £850 ex VAT.
